Who are you going for?

I think my favourite is Neon Neon, but it has a big retro feel to it and it would not be right for something like that to win. To me Mercury should be about innovation and/or individuality, so a deserved winner, IMO, would be Radiohead

I've never heard of half of them, which either makes me old and out of touch, or else means many of those albums are sh*te. Bearing in mind Roni Size once won a Mercury prize I'm going with the later.

Sayhing that... the Laura Marling record might win it, because it's more 'radio friendly' ... I think it's a great album, but the whole 'female singer songwriter' thing gets looked upon favourably.

Like I say it's a great album and the lyrics are really good... She's only 16 or 17 I think, but writes with a maturity of someone much older.

I would be happy if Elbow or British Sea Power Won it.... But Miss Marling also has a chance.
