I've noticed in recent times a huge rise in misuse of the word 'immense' e.g. "Last night was immense!", "Robinho is an immense player" etc. etc.
For the sake of my own personal sanity (and the fact I have nothing better to do) I think it's about time the record was set straight.
So kids, 'immense' does not fall into the same bracket as words like 'awesome', 'wicked', 'mint' etc. but in fact means 'huge', 'gigantic', 'very large' etc.
Thank You.
