There is no airport in Monaco so we will fly to NICE. Nice is a wonderful city and has many bars and restaurants along the long promenade and also in the vibrant old town. we are offering a choice of 2/3* Tourist class (Ibis type) hotel or upgrade to 4* in Nice.

We are also offering a further upgrade to a 5* Deluxe Casino Hotel in Monaco itself.

    Itinerary as follows:

    Tuesday 14th March

Flight departs Manchester 09.45 - arrives 12.50 Nice local time.

On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel in Nice or Monaco after which you will then have the afternoon and evening at your leisure.

    Wednesday 15th March

Buffet/continental breakfast will be provided at your hotel. Check-out will be by 11.30 a.m. and a room will be provided for you to store your bags. If you are staying in Nice you will need to meet back at your hotels at 14.30 p.m to load your bags before a short 30 minute bus transfer to Monaco. You then have the afternoon in Monaco at your leisure but will need to make your own way to the stadium.

If you are staying in Monaco the bus will be at your hotel to load your bags at 18.00. You can then either take the bus to the stadium or walk.

After the match you will have a bus transfer back to Nice Airport. Flight departs at 01.20 - arrives Manchester 02.30 a.m.

Great trips planned well done Spike n Miles! imo Nice will be a much better stopover than Monaco- much more going on and better variety of pubs and bars + less expensive to eat out.
Monaco is fairly exclusive with not a lot going on, its nice to visit to see certain tourist attractions - Palace/GP Circuit/Casino Square etc but its a bit boring !
I have visited both places quite a number of times over the last 35 years and would recommend Nice for the blues for a more down to earth trip.

What facilities are there for stashing bags during the match?

Your bags are safely stored on the coach during the game.

Only City Royalty gets a ticket for this one, even Sheikh Mansour would struggle!! Superbia members only I guess, love Monaco but Nice is only a 2 Euro bus ride away (about 10 miles?) or around 10 euros return on the usually packed trains. Compensation is if the train is missed cracking Stella at Monaco railway station.

i expect it will start at 19000 points dropping 250 each time - i would of thought there are about 500-750 on this number - pure guess work though
