monitor lead

inherited a pc,quite a newish one but want to connect an old flat screen to it,ive got the power lead but not got a blue ended lead(like a small scart lead that screews in both sides of the socket about 2cms wide) that conects the screen to the processor can some tell me what this lead is called in case i order the wrong one,cheers....

Ain't there 2 different sorts now a days (size and pins) , sure i had a problem with the size of the connector once??

make sure it's male-to-male (ooh err!) and it'll be ok.

thats sound that,i can connect the old (massive) moniter but going to get the vga for the lcd ive got,the computers ok pentium,bt 2 years old 2 disc thingy majig so looks ok and hardly used..
