I know he was always a bit flaky when it came to gigs even when he was in good health but I really think he needs to think about the way he schedules tours now with his well publicised health problems. He seems to be giving himself a day off between each gig but it's obviously not enough rest for his throat, he should be playing no more than a couple of gigs a week and actually giving himself a decent chance of fulfilling his commitments.
