For years I've been riding through the main entrance, turn left, and find a space. No fuss, no bother. Stewards smiling and helpful. Push the bike out after the final whistle and ride home.
Today I was refused entry and told I had to park in the "grey" car park, which is right next to the away end. Gates were locked after the match for about half an hour until the thousands of Arsenal fans had filed out. Really annoyed.
Anyone else experience this or know the reason for it?
One of the pleasures of arriving and leaving on a motorbike was the simple informality; quickly in and quickly out. Suddenly it's changed.
