Mouse Pointer Problem

Hiya lads. Could somebody please advise me as I have a problem with my new mouse and after googling (and trying the various suggestions) I am no closer to solving the problem. The pointer keeps disappearing off to the top right of the screen making using the mouse a frustrating exercise. My O/S is Windows 10.

Please help!!

Did you install software that came with it? If so, try uninstalling it and restarting.

It didn't come with any software but I have tried to uninstall and reboot it now with nil success.

Could you expand on this please mate for a dummy like me?

Not a perm fix but try putting the pc/lappy to sleep for 20-30 seconds then wake it.

I presume you can actually see all of your desktop? If you maximise a browser window for instance can you still see the buttons at top right?
