anyone recommend some good documentaries to watch?

watch "the world at war" the very best of the best.
The remarkable thing is apart from standing the test of time is that they weren't even privvy to the declassified information that has since been released since re the accuracy of the first hand accounts.

Anyone seen this?

Fascinating, a nazi uniform with the three lions on it

How they caught B.T.K Dennis Rader using D.N.A. I watched it the other night on the crime investigation channel. First crime case to use DNA was actually to prove a man didn't kill the person he said he had killed.

Banged up aboard, Midnight Express documentary is a good watch, they made it into a film as well.

shed your tears and walk away - filmed in hebden bridge and the filmmaker goes back to investigate why so many of his childhood friends are killing themselves.

"The Boy Whose Skin Fell Off. A remarkable documentary about a remarkable human being.
I defy anyone not to be moved by it.

The Bridge - Two guys spend a whole year either bank of the Golden Gate Bridge and film all the jumpers. They then go and find the relatives and interview about 7-8 of them to find out why the people did it. Some are pissed off some upset etc. Its fascinating however the best part is an interview with the only jumper to survive that year, his story is mind boggling.
