Two French brothers were making a documentary about a rookie firefighter in New York and followed him everywhere,it was pretty boring stuff until THAT morning
There is some amazing footage of what happened that day. The risks the firefighters took is incredible

Very good call mate, seen this a few times. The footage captured in this was the most haunting stuff I've ever seen, and all by chance. Jules and Gedeon Naudet who made the documentary, unwittingly captured the most powerful footage ever seen on film imo.

"The Universe" series, reasonable intro into into most issues humans busy themselves with regarding the cosmos.

I especially recommend the "Multiverse / Parallel Universe" episode from this series.

Basically, the theory is, (I think), that the universe is infinite - and that there
are an infinite number of universes. Therefore every possible outcome within the physical rules of the universe(s) either has happened, is happening or will happen. Or is all happening right now - as they are not sure what we experience as "time" actually exists.

Therefore, (and apparently some guy will prove this in the very near future, (or has proved it, is proving it etc..)) for every single possible outcome of my life which exists with the set physical laws there is a universe in which it is reality.

So, there is a universe where it was/is/will be me who scored the winner against QPR and not Kun Aguero who may in that universe be waiting tables in Argentina somewhere. And if a universe exists for every possible outcome then there are those in which Aguero missed, hit the post, fell over etc.. (or I did).

Guess we're just lucky to be in this universe.

Anyway, they explain it better in the programme.

A good one is Saviours a documentary about a boxing gym in Dublin inner city. It had the late Darren Sutherland in it who went on to win a boxing bronze in the last Olympics before turning pro.
