New Kit Deal - Under Armour?

Maybe. I may have misunderstood (I was putting it in the context of football).
They're certainly far more established so I would absolutely agree with you there. I don't even think I've ever seen their soccer/football gear for sale outside of the Spurs stuff. If they want to grow their brand within that space, City is a big partner.

I'd say traditionally we are a similar sized club to Spurs. Our attendances over the years have been fairly similar. They had a period of success in the 80s and 90s when they were bigger, we're having a period of success now where we're bigger.

It's not everything, but looking at followers on social media is a good indication of how many casual fans you have at home and abroad. We have roughly 3x as many followers as Spurs across all platforms.

I don't think it's unfair to say in 2016 we are a bigger draw internationally than Tottenham.

If they are pulling in £25m a year kit deals, it's absolutely scandalous if we're only pulling in £12m
I agree. Said the other day I think we are a £30/40mil per season club at the moment.

Under Armour just released their recent quarterly sales and it was around $1.5 billion. I'm not sure how their domestic vs international revenue breaks down, but Adidas' recent quarter which was huge for them was $875m in the US. They're comparable at worst, but I think if you asked young people, UA would be seen as a significantly hotter brand than Adidas.

I don't agree with the bit in bold at all.

It depends what you mean by young people I guess, but I've got nephew's of high school age and all of their mates overwhelmingly wear adidas and Nike.

Under Armour seem to specialise in gym gear which is worn predominently by lads in their 20s and 30s. The ones I know that wear it say the quality is decent and I think that's it's selling point as opposed to it being a "hot" brand.

Doing Villas kits this year if not already posted

I have an issue with our supporters believing that a kit manufacturer has the power to raise our profile above what it already is.
They don't. They are nothing but leaches. The underbelly of modern day sport.

They produce our image on the field...nothing more complicated than that.

They make money from US not the other way round...and if that's the case they, by fuck, better produce an image that lives up to supporters expectations and club traditions.

I just want more money so we can have a bigger transfer budget to buy more top players
