Nice Hiwula article in the MEN

Has now scored twice today against Bristol City

He will be 21 in September. I just wonder if our lack of club home grown players that you need for CL will give him an opportunity to stay with the club.

A decent prospect but is he of the quality needed in the Prem? his style is reminiscent of Wellbecks IMO....but can he be as good?

I personally think he is a more natural finisher than Wellbeck.

Was told about this lad when he was 14. His dad is a rag and McClair tried to get Jordy, but was told no because City were looking after him.

He had a bad injury and missed the season before last.

Maybe with this home grown rule he will be given the chance. I would bring him into the squad pre-season. You just never know when someone may just step up playing with better players.

9 goals from 19 appearances (17 starts and 2 sub), pretty good return in a struggling team. Seems to score in spurts though as he got 3 in his first 4 appearances and 5 in his last five, so there was a spell of ten games in the middle when he only found the net once, though that's perhaps to be expected with a young player. It'll be interesting to see what next season holds for both he and Cole.

Spoke to a few Walsall fans about his contribution to the saddlers. If anyone fancies a read...
