hmm, am i misinterpreting this or has nick barbir been knicked from us, and gone to WBA??
"Work goes on at WBA Academy 247. Signing new U8. 'Hijacking' U16 for us from 1 of the richest clubs in the world, colts U11 boy secured."
retweetet by nick barbir himself - tweeted by Stephen Hopcroft - Head of Academy Recruitment West Bromwich Albion FC.
From what ive heard, Nick barbir should be a quite decent talent, and hasn't been around for too long.. seems weird. He is the ultra tall american guy.

Definetly is joining WBA... <a class="postlink" href="https://twitter.com/nickbarbir" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">https://twitter.com/nickbarbir</a>

Oh wait! it's Danny barbir... Guess it is too late for me, hahaha

Seems like he has signed for West Brom. Maybe Nick is his brother or something.

How strange,we only acquired him last year.

I wonder if its an attitude problem? iirc did he not post something on Twitter a little while back that wasn't exactly pro City?

The player is a young American lad called Danny Barbir who came over to us last year and played in our U15s. Nick Barbir is his brother and seemingly his agent/representative.

To be honest I never really heard much buzz around him outside of his physical attributes and I'm sure that we would have kept him if we were desperate to. One of those "big for his age" lads.

In the Academy structure we have now we're going to have to accept a lot more of this. There will be a much higher turnover of players and we'll see us sign lads at 12 and them move to other places before they ever get near the 18s. Cream rises to the top and all that.

Nick Barbir is Danny Barbir's dad actually :)

Danny Barbir played the odd game for City's under 16 side but because of FIFA rules was not officially registered with City, he has joined West Brom after an un successful trial at Aston Villa and not wishing to play left back for City rather than his preferred position of central defender

See there is no news of the Under 15 striker we have taken from WBA though
