Eto'o is 28 so knows his next contract will be his last. He wants a big pay day.

The only clubs who can offer that are us, Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Inter.

Inter will keep Ibra.

Real Madrid want Villa, or failing that, Forlan.

Chelsea want to keep Drogba and so aren't really in the market for a centre forward. Not with Anelka there already. They have bigger issues in midfield. Kalou, Malouda, and Cole, aren't going to win them the champions league. They will sign Ribery IMO...

That leaves him two options...stay at Barca, or come to us. Barca aren't going to keep him because they're not going to offer him the money he wants, and so would MUCH rather cash in and use that cash to try and tempt Villa away from under the noses of Real Madrid, or even Aguero from At Madrid...

All just conjecture. But personally, I think we're very very close to signing Eto'o...

Bloody hope so, but can't do with another 500 page thread waiting for it to happen, takes another chill out pill.
