sure, time is needed to be a Champs League side, but there's too much talent on the squad for "give him time to get us out of 18th place". We've been better with teams not nearly as talented. He's got to go

The talent in the squad is injured eg Robinho, Johnson, Bojinov, Petrov, Sturridge

We played players today with injuries. You're over-stating the ability of the current available players who have now been averaging a point a game under 2 managers for 12 months

Our squad is not strong enough to finish in the top6 right now but fcuk me we wouldb't be in the bottom 3 even if I was in charge. Conceding goals in the last minute is a sign of weak mentality and that paired with Hughes tactics is our problem not the players we have.

Gutted. Don't know what to say. The 2nd successive injury time defeat. We didn't deserve that.

Was always going to be a difficult game, but at least we had plenty of effort today, they were just short of confidence, and that is something that's difficult to recapture.

Players like Dunne, Richards seem to be crumbling under the microscope that's come with the tag of the "Richest Club in the World". Every fan, and pundit is questioning their future, and re-appraising their ability.

We just have to fight our way through it, and stick by the team. I don't think the available players are good enough, and some of them seem to be folding under the pressure, but what can you do but support them. The issue of the manager is a big side-show. If a new man came in, he'd have the same players to pick from as Hughes has, and these players have been playing at the same 1 point a game product for 12 months

Agree with the confidence part Marvin , but I can't agree with your comment on effort , we lacked effort too often and quite frankly any neutral would say that WBA deserved the win on effort alone their midfield and frontmen were prepared to run harder and longer despite clearly being lower than us on quality.

Often hard work and graft if you do it for the full 95 minutes will get you a result and so it proved yesterday.

These players we currently have minus a few who most supporters and pundits would say have improved the quality of our side and have in the main put in better shifts than there counterparts last year ala Kompany , SWP , Robinho won nine staight at home last season.

We have a group of players who lack real bottle at the moment not being helped by the fact they are being managed poorly.

The fact we have money to buy new players should not even come into the thoughts of any of them for one second and if that's part of the reason they are not performing then those players will struggle in the premiership no matter who they play for.

When Lampard and Terry were confronted with the same scenario they lifted their work rate and intensity to another level showing the true professionals they are.

Yes they were in a good side but no matter how good if your able to get better the best way to prove yourself is to respond in kind.

If this squad is only capable of one point a game then there is either something wrong with their mental attitude towards the game and something wrong with the way they are being managed.
