Rodgers playing him right wing back against utd at anfield what a fucking idiot! Wasn't the only time he played him there no wonder he wanted to leave. Going to be a special player for us!
 
This season, with Kun, Merlin, Sterling and (maybe?) De Bruyne in the side, could be like Pelle's first season again; remember all those goals? 4's, 5's and 6's were common.


Could be a bit "edge of the seat" at the other end though!

His performances so far and his link up with Spanish Dave is no real surprise. He's exactly what we've been crying out for for years. Not only does he give us much needed pace and his ability to actually beat a man but his movement will be his biggest asset for us. we saw last season how well Silva linked up with Milner and his rather basic but effective movement as he was the only one who actually bothered to move in our midfield. Imagine the damage caused when you swap Milner for somebody with superior movement, significantly more pace and somebody who possesses the ability to produce something out of nowhere. And that's without factoring Aguero into it and the added space any one of those 3 will get as a result of defenders being occupied by the others.
 
Even at 49m , he could turn out to be the bargain of the century , cant wait to see merlin , kun , sterling , yaya and nasri ripping teams apart next season .How lucky are we , to be watching players like this week in week out ?

Not a chance!

I was very impressed with the lad today. As others have said, he certainly seems to have clicked with Merlin already and that understanding can only improve the more they play with each other.

I'm really excited at the prospect of watching these two linking up with the other attacking talents we have, especially Kun.
