Can`t see both of them playing centrally in the same game. Hoping for something like this:

    Bravo

    Danilo
    Kompany
    Stones
    Zinchenko

    Yaya (DM)
    Gundogan
    Foden

    Bernardo
    Nmecha
    Brahim

Looks a bit weak that. Maybe you are right about both of them. He may go strong now we have a 16 point lead.

If you compare that team to the side that beat Leicester in the cup, the only changes are:
    Kompany for Adarabioyo
    Stones for Mangala
    Nmecha for Jesus
Even though we have a bad record against Wigan, that team should be good enough

Suppose it depends how seriously Wigan take it too. They lost Sat to Southend! Promotion still their main goal and only 3 ahead of Blackburn in 3rd.

I’d like to see some younger players in though.

I don’t think Toure will play though. He seems to be well out of favour currently. They may give him a few games once the league is wrapped up as a last hurrah.

Not so sure that Toure would play either, but against a League One side he should do ok

Wouldn't mind seeing Zinchenko play further up the pitch against Basel in the return leg. He's earned it IMO.

Manchester City are set to reward Oleksandr Zinchenko (21) with a new £50,000-a-week contract after his impressive performances at left-back this season. [Sun on Sunday]

Think we’ll see one of Diaz or Foden tbh.

Fuck me, where to start with this one.

He doesn't misplace a lot of passes- he has one of the best passing accuracy %'s in the squad. Better than anyone else who's played LB or LWB for us this season (Mendy, Delph, Danilo, Sané, Foden).

He's not great positionally because he's an attacking midfielder- arguably a right winger- playing at LB. At 21 years old, with no prior big league experience. What do you expect?

Nobody would have a word of criticism for Zinchenko if his name was Alex Sinclaire and he was an academy graduate from Stockport. Cut him some slack.

Fantastic at everything except his positioning which will come with experience in the role.
