Ned is a better defender than Micah Richards.

Positionally better, reads the game better, is better. Tends not to have a little kip during games.

Ok..... you're right, ignore the facts. When was the last time he played 5 games on the trot?

Whats that got to do with it? The big question mark against Ned is his injury record. He's always injured, thats why he will always be behind cos he's never fit long enough to cement his place in the team. But he is a better defender than Richards, in my opinion.

Richards is the most over rated player we've had since Joey Barton.

i think yesterday proved how rubbish richards actually is. ned is a far better defender . hes also allows dunne to defend on the right side which is where he sould be playing.

all richards has is pace to get his out of trouble. he aint even the greatest header of the ball.
