" Our day out" by Willy Russell

I seem to recall a TV play set during the 1981 Moss Side riots although it all takes place indoors.
 
slightly off topic but naked by mike leigh is a classic film if no one has ever seen it. on a northern note- red riding trilogy by david peace is well recommended
