Booked an all inclusive here for early October. Any recommendations for food or things to do?

Looking forward to trying somewhere new, and hopefully the weather is still okay.

Tomb of the Kings
Ferry trip to Jerusalem
Day trip into the Troodos Mountains
Evening meal (try the meze) on the harbour

Agree on the above, lived and worked in Cyprus for 6 years but not been for a few years now

I would add (depending on whether you would be happy to hire a Z Car [Hire Car]) Polis to the NW of Paphos used to be a beautiful little fishing village and you can drive there west through the national park or go over the top after you have done Troodos... well worth going to Platres (nice lunch at the Trout Farm) and if you want a longer trip out then Kykkos Monastery is a must....

Nicosia is worth a trip to see the divided capital and the UN zone (if that is still there) but be warned, it's bloody hot and a fair drive from Paphos...

If you do drive up into the mountains you will escape the baking heat on the coast / plain and the scenery is stunning....

Enjoy yourself, Paphos always used to be a weekend getaway for us from Akrotiri...

Paphos is great. Lovely harbour near a medieval castle, as well as some old Phoenician relics and Greco-Roman mosaics. Polis is about 30-45 minutes way and is also a lovely little place. Spoilt for choice with good restaurants there; can't remember their names, so have a look on Tripadvisor.
