Two points - whether pro or anti hughes
1 - if embarking on the 'Project' that we apparently are, with the resources to buy which ever players take your fancy, would hughes then figure on a list of possible candidates for the managers job - i dont think so
2 - Do you think the likes of Kaka , Messi etc would ever consider coming to us if Robinho hadn,t come in - again i don,t think so
Hughes is out of his depth plain and simple, he,s no idea how to restore the dwindling confidence of a squad he,s improved, and as such its just a matter of time before he,s out the door,i hope for all our sakes he,s gone sooner rather than later.
We need a world class manager to build a world class team, or the arabs set a budget of £30 million a year for players and we carry on as we are with hughes at the helm and await to become the mirror image of blackburn.
