The chatactor is very good and is written well by Charlie Brooker and her.

Some very clever funny lines interspersed with large amounts of stupidity. Had the ability to be slightly more slanted to the former with less of the latter, but then it might not have had such wide appeal.
Having just been told I'm a "liberal elite" by the Tea-publicans in the last US election, that might be more my problem than Philomena's!?!
