Was in Abu Dhabi yesterday and a business acquaintance of Emirati extraction happened to mention the 40million Valencia bale out. His view was that it was probably a part exchange for David Villa, the overall package being worth 52million but with one or possibly two players going the other way to make up the shortfall. He asked if we had any players constantly warming the bench (to avoid injuries) that might fall within the 12million value category. Jo immediately sprang to mind. Take it or leave it...
 
Jo would be the man to play with Villa - there is no way that Villa will successful as the lone man up top. Think of Jo's success in Russia playing with Vagner Love.
 
i personally cant see Jo cutting it in the premierleague! I know he hasnt been given the chance, but just cant see it! Hope he proves me wrong!
