Wishing the lad well, been unlucky with injuries at City, and to boot been treated awfully by the French FA. Clean slate Samir, world class.

Should be nice and fresh when season starts
Hardly played for 2 years.
Fancy a good season for him.

Doesn't have the bottle, discipline, or work rate. Does to much of his own thing (impotent, needless short passing in non dangerous areas).

was watching re-run of the City 4 Utd 1 game on Sky this week, Nasri was superb in that match, set up the first goal, scored the 4th, looked fit and pacey...Samir in that form (and shape) would be an asset for most teams

He would but he doesn't do it often enough and that's his problem.

He is contracted to 2019 I think so can't see him moving anywhere. Hopefully he will be given the rocket up his Arse he sometimes needs!

It is always a pleasure to hear a Sami Nasri interview, the guy comes over as very genuine and intelligent.

Which makes it even stranger that he seems to have a bad reputation as a trouble maker.

The guy seems very honest and truthful, maybe that's the problem, he just says what he see's.

The more I think about it, I'm not sure he has the quality to survive, he slows us down, has a shocking attitude and lacks the pace and directness that Pep seemingly craves.

I reckon we could count his outstanding games on one hand. A great talent but lacks backbone.
