I remember CityWatch tweeted about it last month, but then David was seen playing for Spain around the same time.

apparently he didn't and being as he is already working in the gym seems he hasn't had surgery

Why not?
Would've been a great time to have it surely? If it could've been resolved in the summer break, it could be great for his game and prolonging his career.
Bit disappointed if he's had to grin and bear it, instead of resolving it, due to obligations for Spain.
