Quite serious. Can’t take Ghoulam if he’s gone and Shaw was bloody highly rated not that long ago... could be a Pep special if he could get him back in working order...

Torreira from Sampdoria, small but very good tackler and passer, could be Ferna heir

Yes, I like the look of him. From these clips, it looks like he'd suit the Premier League & Pep's way of playing. Full of running, an aggressive but intelligent tackler & moves the ball on quickly. Good call.

Maybe because all the effort last summer went into the only young talent that is even better? Mbappe and Dembele in one team is unfair. If France get competent modern coach (Zidane?), can see them dominating the international scene for a decade.

Possibly because we already had Sané and Sterling and Dortmund wanted £130m?

It was probably easier to pry Mbappe off of PSG than Dembele from Barca though.

    Fair point

No, the whole Europe were after Mbappe, including Madrid and Barca. Dembele's transfer was unexpected and became possible only after Neymar's one.
Both players met with Pep (Mbappe - known for certain, Dembele - allegedly) and refused to join City.
