PM's and Outbox

I sent a PM on Monday this week but it is still in my outbox and not in the list of sent PM's, even though it says it has been sent.
As I have not received response can someone tell me whether or not it has actually been sent or should I resend?

As others have said:

PMs are kept in the outbox and available to be edited before it has been read.

Once the recipient reads it, it is moved to the sent box of the sender and is no longer available for editing.
 
Oh fuck i have a few missed, sorry the missus was pissing about with my settings on site. Must have clicked msg's and therefore non showing as new.
I'll reply asap, furthermore stony is a **** :-D
