Points of Blue Meeting

I'll hopefully be there on Monday but was visiting a friend who hasn't been well and he said he can't go as much these days as walking is a problem. I mentioned the buggy that transports people up Joe Mercer Way from the car park and he said he used that but it doesn't do the return journey after the match.

Can anyone confirm that the service only operates before games and not after?

Greetings all.
There will be a Points of Blue meeting at the Lass o' Gowrie on Monday at 6-30.
I know it's short notice.
Any new topics to bring up? Alternatively has anybody noticed changes (for better or worse) in the topics often discussed such as security, queues, ticketing and catering etc?

Away tickets. Despite having been platinum since it’s inception, I’ve gone from qualifying for about half the away games 5 years ago to zero this season. Not one. And it ain’t the Supporters Club getting them. The London Branch, the largest in the country outside Manchester itself, got a grand total of 2 for Huddersfield. They’re clearly being hived off in ever greater numbers though and it’s a disgrace

Saw it the other week transporting supporters after the game against Burnley, it was hammering it down at the time so not sure if that had a bearing on it

There is at least 1000 go out the back door these days every game, and the bar is rising higher each season , more than it is possible to obtain them, on purpose to wipe out any allocation to loyalty points in the next 5-10 years.

In the future you will need a to pay a grand+ extra for a season ticket on level 2 to buy a ticket. Lots of people have figured this out and just pay £1750 with access to any aways and picking the high demand games only.

What always strikes me is that when we play the rags who must have shedloads of supporters clubs and more 'posh seats' than us they always seem to be the 18-30 age group in our place.

Surely they'd not missing a money making opportunity take more of the allocation for corporate fans than even we do.

Could you ask the team not to win as much as other supporters and the press, pick on us
And my knees were wrecked after having to jump up and down seven times against Stoke. And people were complaining of sore hands after we had to spend so much time clapping at Watford. It's not easy being this bloody good.

Policy on Allowing away supporters in home ends. I openly saw a guy in an Arsenal shirt last week who appeared to be with two mates in no colours so don't know If they were city or arsenal fans but they were queuing for P1 and got pulled to one side by a steward. They were talking in a group with 3 or 4 stewards for a few minutes and the resolution was he took his Arsenal top off put in his bag then was escorted back to P1 by the stewards and in he went
Seems a sensible outcome to the situation.

They are being much more imaginative in pricing foo/drink which has made it more affordable - 'bundles', 10% off for season tickets for tsxns over £10 and £2.50 pints. The club have obviously listened to feedback and responded, so fair play to them. Also service is much better - staff seem to be better trained and clued up. For me, the biggest thing the club could do to improve matchday is put pressure on metro/buses to improve services particularly after the game.
Oh and fix the bloody tannoy system. We are in the East Stand and cannot hear a word.
