I was in a Celtic Bar in NYC watching this game. I had been having a great week break and this was the night I flew home.

Win and we are still in the league chase. Lose and we are fucked. One of the most nerve shredding and finally exhilarating games I've ever watched.

Was in the Army at that time.No ticket. Slept rough outside the ground, got a job clearing straw off the pitch and snow off the steps. Sat in the Royal box for 30 seconds. Scored a goal when the workers had a break. Saw City win and got paid £7.00.
