Post Match Thread: City vs Southampton

We looked ordinary at best again today, really piss poor performance from Southampton in the first 20 minutes, from then on they bossed the game. This team is nothing more than ordinary under Pellers, a test of a great manager is the ability to make new signings improve their game, in this respect he has clearly failed, I give you Bony and Sterling as just two examples. Roll on next summer when hopefully we can get a manger in who can motivate and get the very best out of his players because what we saw today was just another average performance, it could have gone either way and those that think otherwise are simply delusional. The sheik will not stand for mediocre and for most of this season that is exactly what we have been, to be behind the rags for todays match is simply not acceptable. Perhaps a little of the team ethic that Leicester have would not be lost on the present City team, we had it once but unfortunately it seems to have been lost.

Good opening 25 mins but poor after that, on another day Saints would've levelled and there'd be fighting galore on here. Thankfully got the three points in the end.

Tale of two halves, the first 45mins we were good for the 2 goals and the midfield was going good, but the second half we went asleep, De Bryune, Delph and Sterling had good games, good to see Silva back, defence still had the wobbles, and credit to Southampton for making a game of it, good to get the 3pts well done guys..............
