Pub for this Sat lunchtime - with Sky Sports and decent scran and handy for Etihad?

    get in my mates sports bar called Directors Box, does some decent finger type food. Not a full on meal but good food and brilliant for watching the rags get beat

    ps just near china town

    pps St Peters Square is 1 minute walk for the tram to the game

    If you are staying in the Britannia i would be more mithered about surviving that experience.....
    Northern Quarter lies on your route to the Ethiad....plenty of gaffs in there. Directors Box a good call.

    You can pre-book the booths downstairs if there are a few of you. If it's just you then yeah will be rammed. Look elsewhere.

    This place is good for sport dunno what the food is like. Near Piccadilly Train station.

    Has anybody been in Second City bar in Ancoats? Stumbled across it before the Everton home game but I didn't go in. It looked alright though with screens and food available. Quite well situated for home games.
