Yeah, ended up in there last season after I saw us turn United over in the Old Trafford derby. Some posh fucker called @gordondaviesmoustache texted me to tell me he was in there celebrating so met up with him for a scoop. It was rammed and they had the teatime game on which was Liverpool v Leicester. Plenty of screens for watching the televised matches. Me and a few mates planned to go in the following week before our home game with Bournemouth but the lazy twats weren't open when we got there so we intended to go in prior to another home game shortly after but this happened: http://www.manchestereveningnews.co...ws/watch-car-stolen-northern-quarter-12130887 I think it ended up closing down for a bit after that as a result and we never got round to contemplate going in again. I might try it on Saturday if I'm about in town early enough. As you say, it's handily located for our home games.

Haha! Funnily enough I met @Prestwich_Blue in the bar next door before the Everton game. I'm such a social butterfly!

The food and beer in Pie and Ale is cracking, some tables outside sheltered which is handy as well. Never ate in Second City but the bars alright, plenty of screens and there's an alright but pricey brew tap next door but one.

You getting the train down mate? I'm leaving the car for a change and a few of us are on the 8.52 from Waverley.

Will probably head to the Northern Quarter for a couple of decent beers on route.
