Question for any bird-watchers

Just seen an unusual bird in the trees behind my house. It's about the size of a wood pigeon, has a sandy brown torso but with the tail and wing-tips of a magpie. Is it a specific breed or is it just some sort of wood-pigeon/magpie cross-breed?

Shoot it and post it to me, I'll tell you what it tastes like, it's a Jay so a corvide related to magpies and crows.

Definitely a Shite Hawk. Quite common in the Prestwich area, apparently.
