Questions for Willie Donachie?

Can you asked him why he tackled the Widow Lodz player round the neck in the home tie of a UEFA Cup game circa 1977? :)

Or is my memory playing tricks on me?

Against Stoke City, how satisfying was it when virtually knocked out John Mahoney with a head butt? As I was standing in the paddock at their then shithole, I was around 10 yards away. Willie just jogged of the pitch knowing full well that he was getting sent of.

Interesting career move. Good luck to him - I first City team I watched was Tony Book's side in 1975/6 and WD was a top player then. His son is now Head of Therapy Services at Everton, and there's a little bit about Willie in this Liverpool Echo piece:

Unfortunately for Willie, everyone remembers THAT own goal for Scotland, in the last minute of a Home International match as they led Wales 1-0 at Hampden. Someone above says they've never seen it since. Well, YouTube is your friend:

Who, of the current squad, would you personally choose to be given a role in management or coaching at the club and why?
