I just bought the guitar I've wanted all my life.

A Rickenbacker 360.

I'm so excited, I can't wait to jangle on stage with it.

Picked it up 2nd hand at a real bargain price too.

Good colour as well ;)

looks cool as. you gotta throw some peter buck style 'knee bend' shapes with that!

Great sounding guitars. Love their basses too. Unique sound in both.
Fave Ricky players?
Peter Buck, Roger McGuinn, Susanna Hoffs, Bruce Foxton, Steve Priest, Lemmy, Chris Squire, for me.

You'll do for me mate.

I'm hugely into R.E.M. in a sick sick way. I also love the Byrds. Both are big influences on my playing style. You just can beat that jangle.

Also Duncan Lloyd (Maximo Park) plays a Rickenbacker too as does Pete Townshend.

I've got a black 620 and our bass player has a 4003 series.

Best guitars money can buy!...

Loved REM from that first performance on The Tube. Saw them shortly after playing The Gallery, (Anyone remember that place? Tiny, cool cellar on Peter Street, somewhwere where those grotesque pikey Bar 38 or something is now?) They were awesome....
