    I've only got to see 'zombies' mentioned in a film title and it's a no-go for me. Reminds me too much of the City teams of the early 60s.

  7. Gutted about this, met him a few years ago in London and he was a proper gentleman. Dawn of the Dead 1978 is one of my favourite films of all time. Night of the Living Dead, Day of the Dead and Creepshow are all classics too. RIP George.

    Night of the Living Dead is the prototypical zombie movie, but it's also way ahead of pretty much anything else. It's not really about the zombies, it's about the people in the house. It's a really intelligent film full of social commentary. Dawn of the Dead offers the same critique of consumer culture.
