Should be a week's ban for bringing up Halifax and Shrewsbury just when I was feeling upbeat about City! After Shrewsbury I didn't think Cup upsets could get much worse and then along came Halifax the following season.

luton and oldham plastic pitch was shocking and when the wind got up at oldham the keeper would kick it out knowing the bonce would take over it was also a skin burn waiting to happen i remember a player leg being opened up with a burn if it was a oldham player

That was truly awful.I remember Big Joe launching a kick out of his hands,out on his bye line,as there was thick mud everywhere else ... only for Ronnie Boyce of West Ham hitting it back into his net with a 45 yard volley.
He hates to be reminded of that does Big Joe.

That was a strange season v West Ham. Lost 5-1 at home and won 4-0 away.
