It seems like only two minutes ago since he bounced onto the TOTP stage kicking footballs back in 1971 singing the brilliant 'Maggie May ..... crikey , that was over 42 years ago

personally i think he's alright , even though his football allegiances are misguided somewhat , he's definitely a true legend ....... the single that he's not long released called 'it's over' was a quality song , and a real throwback to his best days.

He did some awful stuff in the 80's, but who didn't from that era? (Apart from Bowie of course, He was great in the 80's)

Always hated any bloke who turned his back on the camera whilst waggling his arse, and all that fag type dancing about he did.....his records in the 70's were aimed primarily at young girls, as opposed to now he aims himself at Stepford wives.

Never saw the guy live was in my prime when he was belting them out!
No doubt he recorded some memorable sing alongs.

Yes the killing of Georgie is a fantastic song .

Seen him several times, Bournemouth '71, Belle Vue '78, also Maine Road, MEN arena etc....
