But why do you think Angelino will be anywhere near good enough? He's underwhelmed at NYC, Girona and Mallorca. It'd be great to see him make the grade but there's been very little evidence to suggest he's worth a place in our side when he couldnt hold his own elsewhere. He's gone to Breda now and I'd say this pretty much his last chance to impress. Can't see it happening myself.

Because his loans suggest he's absolutely miles away from the required standard. We think too highly of the majority of our youngsters, at the level we're at now, we have to accept the vast majority of players in the academy will not be good enough to even push for a squad place in our first team. We won't sacrifice quality is the message Pep and khaldoon keeps giving us and it's absolutely the right approach for a club that wants to win everything.

Surely after last night our biggest need is another LB. We will not get away with just 3 all season, just 2 games in and we're short of options already. Sane isn't the answer and it was all there for us to see last night. Bertrand is a must, he's got the defensively qualities we need and an at King threat as well. Best £40 mill we could spend at this stage of the transfer window.

This 100%, we didn't make it to two whole matches played before it became a problem, to have ONE FULLBACK in the entire squad and not even kids to call on for only the third match of the season is laughable. A LB or at very least a left footed CB who can fill in there is absolutely vital.Surely after last night our biggest need is another LB. Mendy had some injuries last season. We have no back up for him. Sane is terrible there and Danilo's left is simply not good enough.
Much better value than signing Evans.
