Amazing that those 3 are costing them £45m. Absolutely staggering how little value for money there is in the premier league.£12m for Shelvey, £12m for Townsend now £21m for Berahino?
Why won't they over pay for our players :(
In saying that, the new TV deal means clubs will find it more than worthwhile paying over the odds if it keeps them up this season.

Shelvey is a good player and an English international. Townsend is an English international. Berahino is handy but nowhere near worth 21 million in any market.
Those three will improve Newcastle, no doubt about it.

If Berahino is worth £21m then we can add another ten for Kelechi!! That makes him worth ten times what we paid! Two or three more games and he'll be the north side of £40m!!
