Saudi Gov expell Qatari diplomats and cut ties

Probably not much as most airlines take a route over Turkey and Iran anyway.
They are all flying in a dead straight line north from Doha and turning left once they hit Iran to get to Europe/the West and right for Asia and the south.

It's so petty.

It's adding around 40 minutes to those travelling south but only 10 minutes to the Uk times, or so my pilot friends are saying (there's a fuck load of pilots here as it's only of the big industries).

Seems Qatar paid Al Qaeda a $1bn ransom for the return of some members of its royal family. That seems to be what has pissed off Saudi and UAE and is the root cause of this crisis.

Bein sports based in Qatar banned in Dubai... They better sort this shit before the start of the season

Most Emirates and Etihad flights to and from europe use the same route as Qatar, as its generally the most fuel efficient route, some do use a route through the Balkans, Egypt and across Saudi, but since the Russian plane came down over Sinai, that route has been used a lot less.
