Thought they said in commentary that around 1600 Manchester City fans had made the trip...
They did. I wouldn't believe a thing they so though, a city fan is more likely to know.

Those same two Juve fans walked past us as well on upper tier - blatant!security last night I thought was poor, saw a couple of blues declined entry with match tickets because name on the back of ticket didn't match their passport, we were warned about these checks so fair enough. so can someone explain how 5/6 Juventus fans were in the upper tier, wearing colours and jumped up when they scored, thankfully the upper tier wasn't very full but couple of young blues weren't happy and a problem almost occurred with the slowness of the stewards removing them to the Juventus side.
also the time after game we were held back, surely with the coaches in the secure compound those on coaches could have been allowed to board them.
Didn't have a problem getting in. The two Juventus fans stood near us took the banter, we just stood there scratching our heads wondering how they got in. Nice lads.
My only gripe was having to wait on the concourse area for ages, it was fucking freezing.
And also, how small was that cubicle serving food & drinks?
I've seen better facilities at grounds in our Amateur leagues.
One queue to buy the water, then another queue to obtain your purchase.... Backwards.
Didn't mind the police escort though.... Felt like a VIP :D
Italian Police did a good job... They like their cigarettes as well.
2100 was the allocation so around the 1200 mark would be about rightNot sure what our allocation was but I was told outside the ground by someone who would know that 867 tickets were handed back to Juventus prior to kick off. The escort to the ground was top class I thought. Outriders on bikes with the sirens on for the duration with the bus dodging in & out of the traffic at full throttle. At one point I thought we were going onto the test track on top of the Fiat building at Lingotto! We were there in plenty of time but I know of some lads who didn't get in until half time.
Well said, I totally agree with every word. I personally didn't go this time because of how shit Turin was last time.Regardless of what happened in Paris a couple of weeks ago I personally thought the security was heavy handed and infringed basic freedoms.
Those happy to see others have their photos taken with their passports open seem to have lost their sense of perspective.
What will happen to the photos? Who is going to keep them? Are they going to be used in the future? They were not needed in order to let you in the ground. More than likely the photos will be passed on to the police and the fans are complicit in aiding and abetting more surveillance.
We are football fans for goodness sakes, not fucking hooligans or terrorists and we shouldn't have to be put through this sort of shit to get into a football match.
I had a thorough search and then because I made a complaint about the nature of it they became arsed and tried to add humiliation. They can fuck themselves, why should our basic human rights be infringed because we are entering a football stadium?
My wife, a known 5ft trouble causer, had her hairbrush, a box of Smints and some pencils stolen off her. Confiscation with no intent to return is theft.
The more we aquiesce the worse it will get.
I can freely travel across Europe yet I can't enter a stadium with a valid purchased ticket, about time this charade was stopped.
I won't be going back in a hurry, Turin itself was a bit shit and the Italian security is a disgrace. If you think we treat their fans like that then think again.
