Have to take in consideration that Messi was what 22/23? Spent time on the wing and cf/cam where you defend more anyway too.

Messi 0.9 tackles per game, same as Henry and less than Pedro.

Lewandowski would be the fair comparison for what defensive work an out and out striker does in a Pep team.

Be that as it may, I think Doma was simply responding to a false claim that Messi never defended for 10 years (Including under Pep). By showing that he in fact did.

Ah, so this week he's not finished? It's hard to keep up.

Superb yet again. Hopefully will have some load taken off him with GJ returning.
