Sergio Aguero - 2017/18 performances

With all my earlier expressed scepticism regarding Aguero as City's main striker, have to say it was a fantastic game from him. I prefer this version of Kun to a selfish lazy striker that scores in every game.

Humbling and amazing to watch a 29 year old club legend turn up the wick and deliver a whole new performance level.

Watched a programme about Kun's time in Spain earlier this evening. Even as young fella, his potential was obvious. What did we pay for him; £35m, was it? Christ. What a steal.

£31M. It was reported as 38M back in 2011 though.

Hope he gets that golden boot, come on kun.
I was looking the top-scoring golden boots of all-time. Sergio is on 21 at the moment. Needs to hit 5 goals in approx 7 games (injury permitting) just to equal his best season. This is the one downfall on Sergio's goalscoring record. He should have registered at least 1 35 goal season for a man of his talents. I know he's had injuries, and dips in form. But this is the best goals per min striker of the PL era and he's down there at 13th. If Pep had have had him 3 years ago, I'm sure we'd be seeing him closer to 38 goals than 20.. which is proven in his best ratio being this season. 21 in 23 games!

Suarez and Kane the most lethal finishers in that list. Almost getting more goals than games. Give Pep Kane and I think he'd beat Shearer!

Salah's going to absolutely smash the record.
