Like Rugby. Probably been mentioned before, but i can't see any real problem with it.

I know it was tried before, and they don't want to do it again, but hopefully this would shame some of the gobby (rags, Chelsea and Arsenal are main offenders) players into showing a bit more respect. They can obviously question the ref, but in the correct manner.

It may also help people understand some of the Ref's decisions, rather than guessing why he only gave a yellow or a red ect.

Who would be mostly opposed to this, players, FA or maybe the ref's themselves.

The trouble is it would introduce some degree of transparency into refereeing, that would never do. You'll often see them covering their mouths when speaking to avoid being being lip read on camera, they're actively trying to stop people knowing what has been said.

Which seems a bit under hand. Why would you even need to do this. Transparency would benfit the ref's in my opinion, as to understand why certain offences have been dealt with in a certain way, helps the fan relate to the ref. Part of the anger at 'poor' Ref-ing decisions, is the not knowing the reason for a particular action/decision.

They should, it would help understand decisions or refs should at least give an interview at the end of the game. The problem with refs being mic'ed up is the language players use, you can see it clearly when they're shouting at the ref so you would be able to hear that.

Not really a problem TBH, simply delay the 'live' broadcast by a couple of seconds (already happens to varying degrees anyway due to digital encoding, a couple more seconds doesn't make any difference), anyone swears audibly and it gets muted before broadcast.

You could also inform clubs that any player recorded swearing gets an instant red but then you're introducing consistency as well as transparency, that's just crazy talk.

It would also hinder the offenders from generating massive endorsments for family/junior products if it was broadcast that they continually abuse the ref at any decison against them.

The problem there lies in the amount of different nationalities in the league and the amount of foreign countries the league is broadcast to. For example 12.45 kickoff and some French or Spanish speaking player goes off on one and swears to his heart is content more than likely won't get picked up by whoever is meant to take it out then it gets broadcast and lots of kids in France Spain or wherever speaks that language hears the earful sitting down to a midday lunch. An interview with the ref straight after the game before even managers do there's, fans get the explanation and managers then get a right of reply to say if they agree with the refs take. Hopefully would get rid of some of the nonsense bans and fines that managers get and people can speak more freely of there thought of what the refeere actually gave decisions for

I trust Rugby Refs more than Football refs.... football refs come across as sly bastards which is why i can't see this being introduced...

Although it should be introduced, it would also heighten just how much influence the big named English stars have over referee's.

if rooney came swearing at me like that he'd have my whistle shoved down his throat, why are they so starstruck?
