Rejected a £20 million bid from United for Schneiderlin.
Still two years left on his contract. No need to sell at that price, I'm sure Southampton are a very comfortable club after last summer and the new tv money.
Unfortunately (because i only hate the rags more) they are run very well....there's a very good reason they are anti FFP and voted against it.....the owner (family) has plenty of money,they only sell if players want out or would break the wage structure, which is comparatively very low to all the sides who finished above them...i believe the top earners are on 60 or 65K a week.The money they got for the dross they sold last year was a right bonus to them.
However if they want to sustain where they are they need to up those wages.....fact they are against FFP seems they are likely to when they need to.
