They are flying straight out after the game to Abu Dhabi for a week and then off to their international teams from there on ... if their minds are on those trips ahead, we could see a lacklustre performance like tonight ... but in that sense tonight’s result is a blessing in disguise as Pep will have a big stick up their backsides and won’t accept any drop in intensity ... had we on the other hand won tonight with another 3-0 or 4-0 shoreline while being in second gear, I’d probably have been more worried for the Stoke game ... but as I said tonight’s loss against Basel would be a blessing in disguise for the upcoming Stoke fixture ... especially if we hear both Liverpool and United have dropped points in their Saturday tie, or even if United has won, as it’d mean we could win the title by winning the derby ...

So c’mon City, nothing to worry here ... 0-4 away win coming up!
