    Even Pep would have his work cut out with that shower. When you have Scott Brown and Alan Hutton as regular starters, you know you have problems.

    I find it quite remarkable they're the only home nation to have never reached the knock out stage of a World Cup (maybe even the Euro's, but I might be wrong), despite having some great players, and after England, featuring in more major tournaments then Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Republic, yet all those countries have progressed beyond the group stages.

    These were my thoughts. If it wasn't for Kane's last minute equalizer they would have made playoffs.
