Streaming BT through your I Phone

My daughter has got a BT phone line and has also got BT broadband. Because she didn't have sky so she has to stream the BT to her TV using cables. She dosen't seem to get the BT programmes through although her TV is showing connected to her phone and picking up such things as u tube. Does anyone know why the likes of the sport isn't coming through or does it have to be plugged into a I pad and not a phone?

I think you need the Apple TV box -

Actually, try plugging the phone into the TV first before starting the App, that may help.

Apparently, Chromecast works too. There are other casters available that may work as well.

I think like any DRMed content you can't just plug it in via HDMI.

Not sure if this maybe a browser issue.
Try using Puffin Browser (there is a free version available) and see what happens.
If you are using any Apple device then applications that use Flash will not work properly.

You need the BT App for the phone.

She needs to order a Freeview box from BT (Starter package costs nothing) and link it to her broadband router. This will give her 80 free view channels plus BT Sport..as well as catchup tv. On her phone she'll need the BT sports app and the BT TV app

i run BT Sports and BT TV through my iPhone so its not a 'flash' issue
