Thanks to Liverpool being utter shite, this is a chance for us to consolidate our top 4 place and stay a point behind Tottenham with a game in hand Arsenal play Liverpool the day before, which Liverpool will probably win (before drawing at home to Burnley the next week).

Caballero
Zabaleta
Stones
Otamendi
Clichy
Touré
Silva
De Bruyne
Sterling
Sané
Aguero

Bravo, Sagna, Kolarov, Fernandinho, García, Navas, Iheanacho

It says everything about our form so far this year that I can predict us to score four away in the PL and not feel that I'm being arrogant (no disrespect @Stockport mackem). Sunderland are unpredictable at the back but we are just so deadly going forward.

Sunderland 1-4 Manchester City

Defoe to score for them. Sané, Aguero x2 and Sterling for us.

We need to play our strongest side - no messing about from now until the end of the season. Who knows but if we win and West Ham can pull off a miracle and actually win one at home then we will be eight behind with a game in hand. Win that and beat Chelsea at their place and the gap is just two points. Unlikely scenario but you never know. Put this one to bed as early as possible, no injuries, sub key players would be ideal

I suspect Sagna will come in at right-back.

The rest of the team picks itself really.

I think he'll find a way to shoe horn Fernandinho in somewhere.

It might be his time to rest. He's his energy is certainly going to be needed in Monaco.
Perhaps we'll see both he & YaYa centrally against Monaco? Perhaps at the expense of Sergio or De Bruyne/Silva.

-------------------------------Caballero
Sagna-------------Stones---------------Otamendi/AK-------Fernandinho
----------------------------------Toure
-----------------De Bruyne-------------------------Silva
Sterling------------------------Aguero------------------------------Sane

I know Fernandinho didn't work at left back against Monaco but I think he'll do what he can to get him in the side.
Caballero, Silva, Sagna and Toure to return.
Only selection I'm not sure about is who he'll pick to partner Stones.

Like every league game from now till the end of the season:
Must Win.

It's got dropped points written all over this.

Sunderland are utter shite but they managed to hold Spurs the other week.

This game is it for them. Lose and they are cast adrift.

Hopefully we just play our own game and go for as many goals as possible.

*Defoe scores
*Pickford has a worldy

Nah, we're in good form at the minute, we should be beating them.
