Sunderland thread

Just saw on Twitter that Advocaat is not going to stay on as coach. A better offer somewhere else, maybe? Perhaps a job back home?

Advocaat always said it was going to be his last job in management.
He only ever wanted to do a short term job, but, I think the whole situation of staying up, the Derby win etc, the club got to him a bit...but he stuck to his original decision.
Mr Allardyce it will be....(probably)

Just a quick bump to say well done to Sunderland and Defoe. Broke my heart reading this.

Get well soon Bradley.

Amazing picture. Really nice from Defoe and will mean the absolute world to Bradley and his family. Top bloke, sure he'll be spending a bit of time with him. Get well soon little man.

Wow that picture is so special, absolute respect to Defoe. These footballers mean so much to us all, especially the kids, and it's a shame so many are too full of themselves to realise how lucky they are.

Defoe is a class act. He spoke last season about having to stay up to secure the jobs of the staff at Sunderland, the admin and canteen staff etc, not something you hear from footballers very often. Hope Bradley pulls through.
